Martin Aviation got its start in 2018 with a single tool box, an enclosed trailer and a pickup
truck. Chris decided to start the freelance maintenance business as a way to help his
friends and family that owned aircraft. In 2019 Martin Aviation became official when it
moved into a T hangar at Scottsboro Municipal Airport and then the same year moved into
the large hangar on the same field. In 2025 Cullman Airport broke ground on a brand new
state of the art maintenance facility to serve as Martin Aviation’s second location. In 2026
Martin Aviation officially opened its doors at Cullman Airport while simultaneously breaking
ground on an identical sister hangar for its Scottsboro team. From a single tool box to 2
13,000 sq ft hangars and 15 employees Martin Aviaiton is growing to fit your needs!
